Description
This 3-hour class introduces younger students to basic firearm safety. A healthy respect for what firearms can do is instilled along with an understanding of universal firearm safety rules. What to do if a gun is encountered without an adult present is addressed. Proper handling of a firearm is covered at length. Portions of the NRA’s Eddie Eagle program are included as well.
An optional live-fire session with .22’s allows students to experience the fun and responsibilities of safe shooting. Firearms and ammunition provided as part of the class.
