Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License Course

Description

This is the required State of Florida certificated basic safety course, that covers firearms safety, on-range qualification, individual legal responsibility and Florida law requirements. Cost includes class, range time, ear & eye protection if needed, State CWFL application pack and all class room materials. 

Please note: This class is for experienced shooters who can demonstrate basic handgun knowledge and safety. If you are not an experienced shooter, please register for the Handgun Intro Class above which will also meet the requirements to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon of Firearm License.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Ammunition Required: 25 rounds

Equipment Required: None. Handgun, and Eye & Ear Protection Rental are Included in the Course Fees.

If you have a handgun, feel free to bring it.  Please remember that all firearms must be unloaded and securely encased before entering the building and should stay that way until the instructor advises you otherwise. Ammunition is available for purchase at the range or you may bring your own. You will shoot approx. 25 rounds per person in this class. Due to ammunition shortages, the store may not have your caliber in stock.  We recommend calling your planned training location prior to class to check ammo availability. 

If you don't have a handgun, one will be provided for your qualification. If you will be using the range's rental guns you must purchase your ammunition at the range as they only allow their ammunition to be shot through their guns. 

Prerequisites: Students must be 21 years or older and able to demonstrate competency with a handgun.

Maximum Student to Instructor Ratio: 12:1

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

Full payment will be due to the instructor at the start of class, cash or credit. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. This card will not be charged unless you no show or cancel with less than 24 hours notice. The late cancel fee for this class is $35. Preregistration is required for all classes.
