D.R.A.W. Academy (Level 1) - SESSION ONE: The Science Behind D.R.A.W. and Mastering The Fundamentals
In Part One, you will learn many of the reasons why science plays such a huge role in the success of the D.R.A.W. training methodology. You will also see why several traditional methods of shooting and training are a myth.
You will also learn step-by-step what makes the D.R.A.W. method so unique and effective. Regardless of your skill level, this module will show you how to shoot faster and more accurate while maintaining intense focus.
Expectations and Outcomes
In this session, we explain the science behind D.R.A.W., how the body works when interfacing with a handgun, and begin laying the foundations for fast, accurate, and consistent shooting.
Successful completion of this Course certifies Instructors to teach this course to students

Documentation Requirements
The D.R.A.W. Academy (Level 1) course is a powerful training which utilizes the first of its kind HYBRID training model.
Upon registering, the student will receive lifetime access to the D.R.A.W. Academy online training system which will be utilized throughout your training process. Every student must enroll in the OTS (online training system). There are no exceptions to this requirement.
** Though not required, we suggest that new shooters have attended the NRA Basic Pistol or USCCA Basic Handgun course (or similar ones), prior to enrolling in our defensive handgun classes.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- BarrelBlok and MagBlok Safety Training Devices (included with course)
- Pistol minimum calibers - .380 or 9mm.
- At least two magazines
- Strong side holster and magazine holders
