NRA Certified Instructor Courses

Become an instructor with NRA certified instructor courses. Learn how to teach firearms safety, basic weapons handling, and shooting skills, or go deeper with classes on everything from basic pistol to concealed carry (CCW).

NRA certified instructor classes show you how to teach others to shoot, as well as how to organize your course and what training materials to use.

If you want to learn how to become an NRA certified instructor, you must complete basic coursework in the topic you wish to teach (such as rifle shooting or firearms basics). Then you’ll complete NRA Instructor Training in order to receive your certification. All instructor candidates must pass evaluation by NRA Training Counselors in order to be approved to teach.
